Throughout her audio career, Téa has readily explored nearly every kind of engineering discipline, from concert and studio recording, to broadcast and live sound. Her recording work abounds with each new chapter in her professional life.

 
  • Tanglewood Music Festival

    Téa was selected to serve as a lead engineer for six consecutive summer seasons at the Tanglewood Music Festival. She was the lead engineer for concerts performed by the Tanglewood Music Center Orchestra various TMC chamber groups, the Tanglewood Festival Chorus, the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the Danish String Quartet, Chris Thile and the Knights, Emanuel Ax with Cantus, Garrick Ohlsson, and Miloš Karadaglić. In addition, she spent two full seasons as an engineer for the BSO broadcasts from Tanglewood on WCRB (2021, 2024). Summer 2023 provided her with the opportunity to mix one of the broadcasts as well.

    Téa was also selected as the assistant engineer for concerts performed by The Knights, Gil Shaham, Thomas Hampson, Postmodern Jukebox, the Venice Baroque Orchestra, Gautier Capuçon and Jean-Yves Thibaudet, Stefan Jackiw and Jeremy Denk, the National Youth Orchestra, Apollo’s Fire, John Williams and Anne-Sophie Mutter, Anthony Marwood, and Yo-Yo Ma with Emanuel Ax and Leonidas Kavakos.

    Téa is exceedingly proud of her work as an assistant engineer for the world premiere of André Previn and Tom Stoppard’s Penelope, performed by the Emerson String Quartet with Simone Dinnerstein, Renée Fleming, and Uma Thurman.

  • Tiny Desk Concerts

    Téa served as the engineering production assistant for NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert series throughout her internship in 2018. Mentored by Josh Rogosin, Téa worked with artists to find comfortable, yet quality mic positions within the small space.

    Téa was humbled to work with artists such as Rakim, Dave Matthews, PJ Morton, Rev. Sekou and the Seal Breakers, Frédéric Yonnet and Dave Chappelle, Mumu Fresh with Black Thought and DJ Dummy, The Midnight Hour, Ólafur Arnalds, Lalah Hathaway, Flasher, Haley Heynderickx, Mac Miller, Tower of Power, Erykah Badu, Yo-Yo Ma, Camp Cope, T.I., Tech N9ne and Krizz Kaliko, George Li, Kalbells, Jupiter & Okwess, GoGo Penguin, and Anthony Roth Costanzo.

  • Newport Folk Festival 2018

    In addition to her contributions to NPR’s Tiny Desk Concerts, Téa had the opportunity to serve as a production assistant for NPR’s coverage of the Newport Folk Festival 2018.

    During the festival, Téa helped record the performances of artists such as Lucius, Fantastic Negrito, Darlingside, The Lone Bellow, Moses Sumney, Brandi Carlile, Khruangbin, Phoebe Bridgers, Bermuda Triangle, Shakey Graves, Margo Price, and Jon Batiste with Mavis Staples, the Dap-Kings, Chris Thile, and Brandi Carlile

  • Recent Work

    Since moving to Boston in the fall of 2021, Téa has been blessed with opportunities to work with arts organizations and independent artists throughout New England, including but not limited to the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra, Boston Baroque, White Snake Opera, the Handel and Haydn Society, the Brookline Symphony Orchestra, Mistral, Boston Chamber Music Society, Boston Early Music Festival, the Metropolitan Chorale, Claudio Ragazzi, NALEDI, Zahili Zamora, Boston Lyric Opera, Newton Baroque, Tiny Glass Tavern, Boston Modern Opera Project, A Far Cry, Boston Camerata, Blue Heron, and the Celebrity Series of Boston.

    2024 brought the release of several albums for Téa. This includes Tiny Glass Tavern’s debut album released on PARMA’s Big Round label, Omar Thomas Large Ensemble’s long-awaited Griot Songs, and several chamber music and jazz albums. In December 2024, the album she engineered and mixed for Trinity Church in Copley Square was awarded a Billboard #1 chart placement in the Traditional Classical Albums category.

  • What's Next

    At present, Téa continues to work for GBH Music as a radio audio engineer. The past season has presented her with the opportunity to record some of Boston’s best jazz performers at the GBH Studio at the Boston Public Library, as well as at the station in Brighton. Artists have included Oscar Stagnaro, Vessela Stoyanova, Anabel Gil Díaz, Albino Mbie, Gabrielle Goodman, Farayi Malek, and many others.

    Most recently, Téa has been working on ATMOS recordings and releases for a myriad of classical and baroque artists.

    In addition, she looks forward to the release of albums with the Arneis Quartet, Ulysses Quartet, and Sophie et Adam.
